This shows the effect of the fix of "tap firing on floor doing way more damage then it should be". The result is it doesnt fix what it wanted to fix because tap firing still do more DPS and use a lot less ammo. So yeah, you should still tap fire because you save a lot of ammo and dont lose any DPS at all.
