Killing Floor 2: HoE Lockdown Solo Support Long Game w/Hans
The Summer Sideshow is ongoing. In this video I showcase the new weapon for Support on the map Lockdown. The "Doomstick" the Hunting Shotguns monsterous replacement. It is without a doubt, one of the strongest weapons in the game rivaling with the M99. It's sheer power alone can clear a room effortlessly and blast any large zed that stands in your way. I enjoy using the Doomstick, but the Double Barrel has no real purpose and is now completely overshadowed by it. The map Lockdown is pretty nice. It sticks out among all the laboratory maps with it's great use of lighting and scenery it's my favorite in terms of appearance. Lockdown's layout is tight making it perfect for Support. Holding out is your best option because kiting is simply a nightmare with the EDARs. The only downside to this map is the ambience being too damn loud but other then that, it's a solid map that's a good challenge.
Following up from the last video, I forgot to mention my thoughts on reload cancelling being broken atm. I'm upset by this change personally. Taking away something that increased the skill ceiling. Without reload cancelling, most perks that relied on the mechanic are now completely hindered and sluggish. Reload cancelling gave shooting any type of depth, it's absence cripples perk performance, how you play, and your approach to situations. When the update goes live whenever that is, I hope they revert these changes. On another note, TWI is rolling out another beta next week addressing the issues of the game. Reworking EDARs, reverting tier 4 weapons to their original forms, and slight balance changes. I welcome these changes it's a step in the right direction, but it won't change much. There's still no word on reload cancelling being brought back. Thanks for watching and enjoy.
