Let's see here. My next payday is on the 17th. If my return comes in soon, I'll have about 600dollars. But I shouldn't spend all of that. Should be keeping at least $100 for personal use. But since a week is already up, just 50 should be fine.

Anywayyy. Here are the items I want, and their respective prices.

Intel core i5 2500k - $230
AsRock Intel motherboard (wont go into specifics) - $150

that's about 400 with taxes with there. I can get that.
But I really need more harddrive space. And it just so happens that the prices are inflated as fuck right now. At least $50 more than it was previously. Now, I'd like 1-2TB, with 7200rpm and 64mb cache. Something nice, and fast. And reliable.
Or, I can forsake the extra space. And get another 120GB SSD like I have now. But these things fill up fast. I do have a 1TB hard drive, from a while back. But it's at half capacity, full of movies :P

Anyway. $170 is teh going price for the HardDrive I would take. Or $190 for my SSD.


A bit shitty. With taxes, I'm left with no money after my return. So this is kinda shit for me. But I can live without the Hard Drive.

Anyway. Letting you guys know.
I have 8GB of DDR3 in reserve, and a Radeon HD 6950 2GB Video Card waiting with it. Neither of these currently fit on my Motherboard, without occupying my SATA ports. And my DDR3 based AMD Motherboard just doesn't wanna work properly. I've no idea what's wrong with it. it's too late for an RMA.
But basically, I can get the the board running. But the Video Card doesn't activate properly. OR, I can get the Video Card running, but then I'll get those damn BiOS beeps. Which usually means it's the Memory.

Neither my current Video Card, or New Video Card work on that board. And it has the exact same set-up as my current board, aside from the Memory. Which is DDR2 on my current board.
