Introducing how Kinect performs player identity recognition in Xbox, what we call 'Kinect Identity.' A primary challenge in developing a natural user interface for the Kinect is how to seamlessly recognize a player's identity to ensure a smooth and natural user experience. Kinect identity combines three kinds of information to distinguish the users: face, clothes, and body skeleton.
