Kingdom Hearts 3
Post-Game Part 5: The Flantastic Seven
Difficulty: Proud

We continue seeking out the Orichalcum+ and here is one I consider to be very appealing. This is the Flantastic Seven side-quest. In 7 of these worlds, you will encounter a member of the Flantastic Seven, giant Flan heartless who wish to challenge you to not only for a high score but they are willing to give you stuff in return. In this case, ingredients. This is two-fold. Why? Because you need them for Little Chef’s restaurant and getting the achievement to have every ingredient.

The first you find is Cherry Flan located in Thebes Overlook in Olympus. Your job is to ride on Trinity Sled and knock down the flans that come in your way. The more you knock them down, the more points you get. You need to score 20,000 to win. Completing it nets you a Formchange Extender and 3 Sour Cherries.

Next will be the Strawberry Flan located in the Rest Area at Galaxy Toys in Toy Box. For this, you use the Mad Tea Cups to collect Flans and form a tower. The longer the tower, the more points you get. Be warned because if you ram on an enemy flan riding a ball, your tower will get shrunken down. Don’t forget to be around the middle with the giant machine so that way you have room to grow the tower. You need a score of 19,000 to win. You earn 3 Strawberries.

Up at #3 is the Blood Orange Flan found in the Hills of the Kingdom of Corona. This is a more relaxed challenge but your job is to take 7 photos of said Flan to earn points. Some Flan will pose for you and you need to pull the picture-perfect shot. It can be anything as long as you get the right shot. You’ll net the most points. You need a score of 25,000 to win a Treasure Magnet and 3 Blood Oranges.

Banana Flan is at Monstropolis in the Door Vault Upper Level where the Lucky Emblem is at. You need to go through the White Door at the basement then head to a red door. Your job is to kill the small flans while avoiding the big one by moving & dodge rolling. Here’s a tip. Use Thundaga on them. It helps clear them out and when you get Thundaza, wait till you get a safe spot then nail it. It’ll wipe them out. You need 20,000 to complete it and it’ll net you 3 Banana Ingredients.

Arendelle is home to the Grape Flan. Take the Mountain Ridge save point, jump to the left and glide down. It’s easy to spot. In this, you must take down as many flan as fast as possible. You not only need Thundaga but you’ll also need a powerful keyblade to do this. Pack plenty of Ethers cause you’ll need it. The target score is 26,000 and the rewards are Unison Blizzard & 3 Grapes.

Watermelon Flan is found in Port Royal’s Fort in the Caribbean. This one needs you to move between the cannons to shoot down as many Flan as possible. Most times large Flan will show up but taking them down will also take down smaller Flan. When the bell is glowing, hit it to fire a multi cannon blast. You need to reach 28,000 to win and you’ll get a Focus Syphon & 3 Watermelon ingredients.

Last but not least is the Melon Flan. You’ll find it at around the South District at Night. Climb up the Fashion Center building behind you, then dart over to the “M” building and then to a building with a flat, circular roof. This one is a bit simple. Just bounce on the flan without hitting the ground. A flan will glow and you can bounce on that to reach the next area. Lather, rinse, repeat. You need a score of 15,000 to complete it & you’ll earn an Attraction Extender & 3 Melons.

If you hit all the high scores up to this point, you’ll earn an Orichalcum+ and a Flanniversary Badge, granting a large boost in strength and magic along with a Flan Meister trophy to go with it.

Part 6 is where I get to have some real fun… these are the Voyages of the Gummi.
