I have finally defeated Ansem with my restrictions! Without spamming duels, Ansem is pretty much the hardest boss in the game since he can easily cardbreak you with an 8, 9, and many zeroes. What you want to remember is that it's ok if he breaks you with his blue cards or his Dark Shadow sleight, but it's not ok if he breaks you with his red cards, his Shock Slash sleight, or his Dark Rush sleight because if he breaks you with those you are almost guaranteed to get damaged. You almost always want to use your 9 and 8 cards at the beginning, but you will want to use your 9 cards towards the middle of the battle because once 3.5 bars of his health are gone, he will enter his second phase which he will move a bit faster and he will cardbreak you more often. You will want to watch out and dodge his attacks until you see a lot of blue cards on his side or until he uses one of his zero cards. When he has 3.5 bars of his HP left, he will move even faster, he will cardbreak you like crazy, he will perform sleights more often, and he will perform his "Dark Shadow" sleight which it's okay if he breaks you with that.
