Description For the character: Whispy Woods is a recurring boss in the Kirby series. The forest king first appeared in Kirby's Dream Land and is a giant apple tree with a face and a branch-like nose. He attacks by making apples fall on Kirby, blowing air puffs, and occasionally shooting his roots out in some games. The only ways to counterattack without a Copy Ability is to inhale apples and shoot them back at him. Besides apples, Whispy can also attack with his breath. In early games this was seen as him shooting puffs of air similar to the ones Kirby produces, but now he is able to breathe out mini-cyclones.
