I do not think you should try this on your game. I did this on the Virtual Console port of the game. If the crash gets worse, it will delete your save file and can even mess up your cartridge.

For all the brave people who want to do this. Get the Stone ability from the Museum in Yogurt Yard. Then go to the first level in Orange Ocean and enter the door. On the block push B to use the Stone ability. Kirby should start bouncing. Push B again and the game will get messed up. Moving around will cause the screen to get worse. The music still plays fine though. This can have many different events. But I advise not to do it unless if:

1. You have more than one save file.
2. You are doing this on an emulator. I am doing this on the Virtual Console port.
3. You're doing this on the Virtual Console port. You can just click the Home button and click Restart.
