Knuckle Bash playthrough
An another beat'em up playthrough I should have made few years ago.
This time I am playing Knuckle Back, which was made by Toaplan in 1993.
It's about the professional wrestlers, who fight the forces of evil, that are lead by the Mad Bulls. The first heroes in this ones are El Plancha, Michael Sobut and Jack Brow.
There are also two bosses, that become the playable allies later: Hayate the ninja and Kyaputeso the football player. They both want to stop the gang leader and restore the dreams of being a professional wrestler or something like that.
The gameplay is flexible. You can hit the opponents while walking and there is a lot of the special moves such as suplexes, slides, super moves, etc. You can even do the drop kicks to both sides.
It's one of the uncountable beat'em up games, where all enemies are male. It's like the JoJo or Hokuto no Ken vibes were being put into the 80s wrestling world. This concept is pretty unique honestly.
The graphics are very good, especially the portraits. The music is catchy and the gameplay is neat. It's an another one of the underrated side scrollers that are worth playing.
