I was pleasantly surprised by the Konami GI Joe arcade game. I usually try and pick out games that look awful, but my initial impression of this GI Joe arcade game was way off.
You get to pick one of four GI Joes (Snake Eyes, Roadblock, Duke and Scarlet) and set out on the longest assault of your life guns blazing. It's one versus thousands as Cobra sits helplessly watching billions of dollars go up in smoke.
It looks and plays great. The music is awesome. You can pick from four GI Joes who all play the same. However, the only thing I didn't like was they didn't use one of Cobra Commander's voice actors from the show. Otherwise, this is a great game that can be beaten in 35 minutes with a friend. I can't help but wonder if this would have made a killer light gun arcade.
