Game description:
Kong is a clone of Donkey Kong, completely written in BASIC.
Your goal is it in 3 different screens rescue the girl and in 1 to defeat Kong.
What I think:
I thought this game would be bad, considering it is a clone of a popular arcade game (that is also available for the Atari 8-bit family) and is written completely in BASIC.
But I actually positively surprised. This game is not bad, although I miss some elements from Donkey Kong (like the hammer in the first screen, where the barrels roll down).
It isn't without its flaws though. Jumping left or right won't always work, in the second 2 you can't get the telephone next to the 2 flames, in the 3rd screen you will die if you get the telephone on the right as soon as you go back and in the 4th screen you have to walk over the boards to make them disappear and yeah...that means sometimes you will fall down.
