Koudelka (PS1) - [ LONGPLAY ] - Full Playthrough - No commentary
2No commentary. Played on PS2 console, original PAL discs. Playing on PS3 caused the dialogue to do occasional skips, so I decided to play the game again on PS2, fixing the issue. Consequently, the video quality is not "emulation crispy" but genuine console play. The game is generally very dark graphics-wise.
I noticed that Koudelka is definitely one of the games where the difficulty pumps up when you know where to go and there are less random encounters. For example, I made it to the very end of the game without having armor for each character, only obtaining two pieces during the playthrough. Fortunately, I love difficult games so this was a nice surprise :] My previous playthroughs felt a little bit too easy.
While waiting for Penny Blood to arrive, I decided to revisit Koudelka and Shadow Hearts series one more time and this one didn't disappoint. A weird horror rpg with a lot of issues, but I just can't hate it :]
