0It's strange to look back and know that the Simpsons were the biggest IP out there in the 90's under the NES microscope. There was something about these games that had an extra level of bad. It's almost eerie, like there was something deliberately empty and soul-sucking about them. Even this game, which I believe was the last Simpsons game on the console, had it and I don't know why it needed to. It's really hard to describe. It's like...if you drew a Simpsons character in class with your pen and the drawing came to life via the abomination that you called art, the NES games are what it would be like if the mad creation sprung out, removed all the sounds of life from the world around you, and began some demon mission of making the world a 2-D slop of pain and suffering...
You probably think I'm just trying to be comedically dramatic, but I'm genuinely trying to explain the void to you and I can't come up with the words.
Anyway it's Lemmings with Krusty and instead of saving the critters from death, you're leading them to murder.
