Kung Fu (1985) NES gameplay
This is the first retro game I’ve played on my channel unless you count Grand Theft Auto 3 and Vice City as retro games. I don’t know how to do high quality recording videos of retro games so this was the best I could do for now. Kung Fu was originally released in 1984 as an arcade game called Kung Fu Master and was later ported to many home consoles such as the Famicom/Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), Apple II, Commodore 64, Atari 2600, Atari 7800, and Gameboy. In Japan, it is known as Spartan X but it was released as Kung Fu in North America and many other regions. Since the game is really short, I decided to just play it all in one video until I lost all my lives. Great game for the NES but it can be tough for anyone who picks it up and starts playing for the first time. Lots of retro games are really short and quick but can be tough since the console itself does have limitations and many game companies back then decided that raising the difficulty of the games would get people playing longer since they couldn’t just add more levels.
