The grey guy who one shotted me at the end was the final boss. Once beaten I will work on the 7800 version, as well as post up a Review/Tutorial combo video on the game. This game can be pretty cheap with the knife enemies near the end. They have a rapid fire knife move, possibly a glitch, that drains all your health.

This was one I owned as a kid but never beat, so its cool to get back to these.
