405This is it, the final official week in Season 1 on the 2022 iRacing calendar. To close out the season, the Global Mazda MX-5 Fanatec Cup heads to Laguna Seca for 10 laps around the historic Central California track.
We’ve got Dave Cam once again to show you the ropes around the 2.238-mile, 3.602-kilometer, 11 corner course. Corners, braking points, and how to safely navigate the corkscrew using visual aids are all talking points in today’s video. Grab your notebook, because between the elevation changes and other tricky components, there’s plenty to go over at this track.
The slow, methodical approach is key to learning any circuit, but maybe slightly more important here at Laguna Seca as it is one of the most widely used racetracks on all of iRacing. This venue also holds a special place for Dave as it was his first career race on iRacing, as well as his first career iRacing victory.
