Lancia ECV (Experimental Composite Vehicle) - This super advanced rally car was meant to replace the Lancia Delta S4 under the Group S (less powerful but still highly advanced) specification. However, Group S was banned together with Group B in 1986 which left us with Group A, of which Lancia won the next 6 world titles consecutively with the Lancia Delta Integrale. As great as the Delta Integrale was, it cannot compare to these mid 80s mid-engined 4WDs. What an era for rallying.
