Langrisser M | How to Build SP Altemuller Guide
Part 1
Due to him getting a new Talent and new skills, SP Altemuller is able to fill a few different roles in PVP. This includes being able to strategically manipulate opponent’s positioning, possible killing 2 heroes in one go, be a single target or aoe bruiser, and even be a physical tank if needed.
Part 2
Talent: Peerless Dragon
Asides from Jugler, he is one of the few hero to get ignore cost limit of skills. And the great thing about it is, it is part of his talent, so you don’t need a special equipment like Jugler does. This allows SP Altemuller to be a lot more flexible and essentially be very strategic on his skills depending on yours and opponent’s team composition. This also means, it can be complicated deciding on what skill set you want to use at what time. But to sum it up, at max stacks of Peerless, he is able to get 8% x 6 = 48% atk increase and 5% x 6 = 30% physical damage reduction. That is huge. With the correct enchants, he can easily go over 2000+ attack in PVP mode. The main difference with his talent compared to his old one is that he gains a stack at the beginning of every turn regardless of any actions. Plus the maximum threshold is also higher. Definitely a welcomed change.
Heavenly Dragon Wing Cost: 2
[Passive] Ignore unit obstruction when moving. Before entering melee battle, for every stack of [Peerless] restore 10% HP, up to 30%. After actively dealing damage and ending action, gain 2 chances to negate mobility reduction. Lasts 1 turn.
Mad Dragon's Flurry Cost: 2 / CD: 5 / Range: Self / Span: 2 Ring
[Physical Damage] Deals 0.1x AoE damage to enemies within 2 rings of self. After battle, gain [Windride], lasts 1 turn. After dealing damage, transfer all hit enemies next to self. If this unit has a special effect from a Fusion Buff, and there are at least 3 enemies adjacent to self, then may attack again, but cannot move or move again. Act Again is on a 3-turn cooldown. When triggering the Act Again on this skill, buffs do not decrease in duration.
The translation is a bit confusing, so I will do my best to explain. The reason is that the description say Mad Dragon’s Flurry will teleport the opponents to you and you CANNOT move or move again. The exception is if you have the Heavenly Dragon Wing skill, which states gain 2 chances to negate mobility reduction, which in fact will allow you to move 2 spaces for free. You can think of it like Licorice’s transformation with combination of Luna’s 3c. Licorice transformation clears says she have 0 movement, but when within Luna’s 3c aura, she can move. So the combination of these skills allows SP Altemuller to teleport the opponent to him, act and move again. I will show you an example at the end of the guild of what I am talking about.
Anyways, Because he can fit into so many different roles, there is no one or two go-to sets. Please see the following for a few recommendations.
Full Single Target Disruption (need outside FB)
1. 3c skill Awakening Battle (3c)
2. Heavenly Dragon Wing (2c)
3. Mad Dragon’s Flurry (2c)

2. Dragon’s Breathe (2c)
3. Mad Dragon’s Flurry (2c)
Single Target Disruption + Fusion Buff

2. Fusion Buff (2c)
3. Mad Dragon’s Flurry (2c) (teleport skill)
Alternative Single Target + Fusion Buff

2. Fusion Buff (2c)
3. Heavenly Dragon Wing (2c) (move through opponent and self heal)
Part 3
As for gears, I recommend the following:
1. Weapon: Ragnarök for ST focus Reaper for AOE focus. If none, then use a Peacemaker
2. Armor: Last Rites and everything else is inferior Monkey’s King vest or Garoyle Jacket is usable
3. Helm: Riguler Crown (exclusive)
4. Accessory: Judge Talisman, Prisoner’s Gear, Slayer’s Emblem, Winged Shin Guard, Overlord’s Badge, and even SSM
As for enchants, I recommend Breeze or Full Moon. Since his attack can already become extremely high, he needs breeze enchant to compliment it with ways to increase damage done to counter any damage reduction buffs. Although his movement is 5, it is considered slow compared to all those crazy act-again units, so having a breeze proc and help with a kill. If you want to be more defensive, Full Moon is a not a bad choice as well.
For mastery enchants, I recommend the normal HP, ATK, Def for all slots. PVP mastery you will need HP ATK, DEF, and the last two can be Crit Chance/Damage if you want to try for luck or just stick with reduce crit chance/damage for higher survivability.
I only recommend Steel Wing Warriors, Phalanx, or even Vampire Bats in certain situations. Of course, you can always get creative with his other soldiers if you want.
