A really nice shooter for the Sega Saturn. Originally it was a Taito F3 arcade game, titled Ray Force, but when ported over to the NTSC-J Saturn in '95, it was titled Layer Section, and titled Galactic Attack in North America and Europe. You have a regular laser shot in this game, as well as a sort of lock on type target shot which fires heat seeking missiles, so the game play is pretty interesting. I really enjoy the graphical presentation and soundtrack in this game as well, so overall, definitely a nice title to own in your Saturn shmup library.
