I was planning on not playing Rek'Sai until after the patch, but I realized I haven't had a game with her in such a long time, I opted to grab her. The synergy with Yasuo was just a bonus.

So I was extremely skeptical of the Yasuo support, but somehow we managed to pull this one off. I wanted to see the numbers on Rek'Sai as they were before the nerfs. Ultimately, I think the E change is overkill, but the ult is probably necessary as I always had it when I needed it. It is also possible the new 3 minute rank 1 CD may not quite be enough, but I think this is now tied with Requiem and Wish for longest CD in the game. It would have been nice to get a Q or W buff with the nerfs, but I still don't see myself playing Rek'Sai too much in the future anyway.

As for how the game played, this was a somewhat awkward game as our team was very vulnerable to Malphite and we didn't have the tools to keep him zoned. MF did some sort of weird build I never saw before, but it was Karma who we needed to stop the Malphite and kind of failed the one task. In the end, it turned out to be our team fight strength that turned the tide, but we never really did our combo to melt them as we'd get a pick here or there and then hunt down the survivors.

To summarize things, I would have been a lot better going for a different jungler, but we did make this work. There were times when Yasuo got too aggressive as Yasuo is all too well known to do that hurt us, but with the Wind Walls and knock ups, he did a decent job in the end. Sadly, this is the only Yasuo I've seen do somewhat well during this entire month, both on my team or an enemy one.
