Learning Computer | Saints Row the Third Remastered | Ray Traced | Comparison
If you ever wondered what Saints Row the Third Remastered would look like if it were Ray Traced using Marty McFly's RTGI ReShade Shader, well here it is.
Final Thoughts:
In my opinion there is no point to applying the RTGI shader on this game, here is why. The RTGI basically adds Ambient Occlusion and bounce lighting towards bright textures and lighting, this allow games that look flat and static appear more dynamic especially with the bounce lighting, but with the Remaster the lighting system was redone, and already has improve Global Illumination and it also uses Physically based rendered textures, so objects hit with bright lights will create indirect light of the texture colour, for example, a plain red texture, when light is applied towards it the surrounding area will get some pale red lighting.
TLDR: Remaster already good graphics, no point adding cool filter
