October 2022 personal update for my own journaling and sharing with curious friends. We're about 4 months in (started end of June 2022). Still not a ton of progress for reading music, some times like this one I get more enjoyment from taking a break, playing with chords, and seeing if something comes together to make "fun noise". This is one such combination, warts and all. Sloppy, and several wrong notes in this - which is my mark I suppose. ;)

Poor lighting and recording resolution as this was a sort of last minute urge. I also understand I have quite a ways to go, one of my many big struggles right now is tempo. I'm open for any recommendations for a visual metronome of sorts. The keyboard and Logic Pro do have audible metronomes, but I find them very distracting and off-putting. I'd like to try something I could reference from the corner of my eye or something, if such a thing exists.
