When Halo 4 was originally released in 2012, there was a distinctly mixed response among longtime fans. But what about it was so polarizing? Why do some fans praise it while others loathe it? I decided to meet the game on its own terms, and came out of it with a new appreciation for 343 Industries' inaugural entry in the franchise they inherited.
