Notice any difference with the motion blur? Hopefully it's worth the time to do post rendering. The video is boring, but I wanted to post some stats/technique so I can look it up later when I forget how to do this.

Recording Guide: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1193163

Raw Video: Recorded with source video tools with host_framerate 120 (120 fps video) as tga files (60 GB in .tga files total with over 23,000 frames)

Compiled Video: compiled .tga files with virtualdub and compressed with Lagarith Lossless Codec YV12 (14.5 GB avi file, unplayable due to size but ready for processing, I deleted .tga frames because of these savings)

Post-Processing with Motion Blur: AviSynth, vdub, mvtools, and avs script wrapped/used with mvtools created by Ross Scott (Freeman's Mind, Civil Protection machinima series) -- four hour rendering time for 5700 frames with Lagarith Lossless codec again. (2.5 GB avi file, unplayable again)

Cutting/Editing: Sony Vegas Pro 9.0d with Color Correction, Computer RBG to Studio RBG, Disabled Resampling, Saved/Rendered as Sony AVC 10 mbps 720p (Final size 215MB for uploading to youtube)

Thanks to Ross Scott for his motion blur avs script and all-round awesomeness. I would recommend getting his DVD on machinima cinematography for the motion blur technique alone. It's not only informative about how to use Source demo tools, but it's consistently funny throughout the series of lessons included. This is a person I would support even though I'm not a big fan of Noesis. http://www.noesisinteractive.com/training-modules-350.html
