From the author - "The Parish Beta: Waterfront is a L4D2 campaign that restores the hidden "c5m1_waterfront_sndscape" map found within the game's files to its original and playable condition, along with three other rebuilt maps. From its name, the map appears to be a test map showing off its new soundscapes. It was planned to start in early morning, and end in the afternoon. The map contained none of L4D2's new weapons and items, or its survivors, leaving the assumption that the map was built at a very early stage in its life. The second map has been redesigned to have a starting point similar to the VMF map left behind in the Authoring Tools, "styleguide_semiurban.vmf", and the third map's saferoom has been redesigned to look identical to the saferoom seen in the Introduction video. These maps have been worked on and tested for over half a year now, and have been compiled using the same parameters Valve uses in their retail maps to ensure high quality lighting. One of the unique features of this campaign is my included Beta/E3-Music Soundscript. This soundscript, a simple text file, enables music and other sounds heard in the Beta/E3 builds! And best of all, the soundscript utilizes as much Beta content that was left behind in the game files as possible, keeping filesize to a minimum. "
