Left 4 Dead Demo - The Subway on Expert played by Couch Members
35Lesson learned: use fraps instead of camtasia. Unfortunately, my voice didn't get recorded. I bet you can imagine what I was saying though, as I talk a lot. Thanks to YouTube limits I had cut out a lot, including a few seconds of gameplay, our planning before flipping the switch and first whole half of the level! Raz, Spazzdude, TJ, and Viper Snake play through the "The Subway" level on the Left4Dead demo on The Couch Online's dedicated Left4Dead server.
.::For those who don't know how to play a demo::.
1. Put these .dem files in: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead demo\left4dead
2. Open up the Left4Dead demo, and press Shift+F2.
3. Use the Load button to choose a .dem file, and enjoy! You can slow down the game speed a lot, witness the awesomeness of the pipe bomb blowing up a lot of zombies and get some good screenshots! Have fun!
A few tips for recording - when you are actually ingame use "voice_loopback 1" and the demo will capture your own voice (You WILL hear yourself though). Also, don't use Camtasia like I did for this video - Fraps is much better.
