PART 2. My strategy is to k.o enemies in one round of turns or intentionally miss additions to avoid them going into this games "rage mode" that I like to call desperation mode. Enemies get dangerously overpowered attacks at half life (yellow marker) and some enemies get even more desperate at 25% (red marker). The intent is to avoid them getting a turn in either of these territories.

It gets worse for some bosses as they get speed boosts as well as desperation in moveset tendencies. I need to save my Angel's Prayers (the diamond items) for as long as I can. They're the most valuable items to have in a no item shop challenge.
