Legend of Grimrock II - #24 - Nexus [Finale]
6Starting off with an awesome fight! It was hard, it was brutal, just the way I like it! Aaand we're done?! But... There's more... There's still *HIS* lair! Let's pay him a visit and thank for hospitality.
Legend of Grimrock was an awesome ride! A somewhat open world area, where you decide which area to tackle first. In my opinion outstanding graphics, AI improvements over the first game and greate boss fights! But unfortunatelly, there were times I did not like parts of it - mainly the puzzles or where the tips for them were found. Archives for cemetery access? Rock-Paper-Scissors? Tombs in the pyramid? There were quite few puzzles I did NOT enjoy, but that's just me. Open area also makes you pick the wrong "order" and end up in a hard location like meeting crabs, Ratling boss or even accidently entering Crystal Caves and get slaughtered by the spiders or those other insects (not that it happened to me, but there is an option for it) due to underlevel/poor gear.
Overall it was a great game, deserves a re-play. Most likely I'll come back to this in 2020 as a solo hero challenge run! Thanks for sticking until the end!
