Legend of Legaia - Episode 34: Cort's Ambition [VS Rogue]
1Synopsis:
After reaching the top of Rogue Tower, the head Rogue appears, and the trio gets in a fight with it. After the head Rogue is defeated, Rogue Tower begins to fall apart and the Ra-Seru use their powers to transport the trio back to Conkram before Rogue Tower is completely destroyed. Upon their return, Gala claims that it was the three of them who cut off the source of the Mist, and King Nebular invites them for a long chat. The trio ask for a Nemesis Gem as a reward however Cort disagrees with the king's decision although his opinion is shut down by the king himself. Before heading back to the present, they talk to Queen Minea, and she gives Noa her ring. Meanwhile, Cort is plotting to create their own Mist as the trio leave Conkram of the past. After returning to the present, they prepare to destroy the Mist Generator in the Absolute Fortress.

Boss Strategy:
Rogue is really easy to deal with since he really only has two attacks and the other isn't even an attack. He alternates between changing elements and attacking with the element he just switched to which means that you simply attack on the first turn of the battle, then you spirit the next turn, and you just keep repeating this until he goes down. You can equip Noa with a Rainbow Jewel since it reduces elemental damage as she is the least durable out of the three.

Thoughts:
After this episode, it is pretty much confirmed that Cort is the one responsible for all the Mist Generators throughout Legaia as well as the fact that we have to face him eventually along with Jette. Also make sure you get a Defender Chain before going into the Absolute Fortress if you don't have one already as it will be extremely useful in one of the upcoming bosses, though it is still possible to beat the boss without it but it's a lot harder and requires luck.
