Legendary television music maestro Geoff Harvey | 60 Minutes Australia
For as long as anyone can remember, Geoff Harvey has been in television. As Musical Director of Channel Nine he has become one of the most recognisable faces in the industry. But Geoff Harvey was living with terrible pain. Because of arthritis in his knees, it had become torture to even walk. So in 1997, like thousands of other Australians every year, Geoff Harvey went into hospital for joint replacement surgery. In a gruesome operation, his old knees were smashed away and new metal ones put in their place. The operation is amongst the most painful you can endure. Geoff Harvey can now testify to that. He can also testify that, like thousands of other Australians, it's an operation that can make you feel young again
