The Legends Challenge is when three people play through the same set of Pokemon games at the same time with limitations to make the game more challenging for them. Everyone needs to be playing at the same time in order for commentary to work and all videos get synced up and compiled in the end.

Rules:
*You cannot use anything in battle that is not part of your pre-determined team.
*You can use HM slaves, however, you are not allowed to use them for anything more than fodder in battle.
*Players doing the play-through are not allowed to have any Pokemon that are the same as another persons in terms of final evolution, unless a requirement says otherwise. (Example: Two people can use Eevee at once as long as they don't evolve it into the same thing.)
*If a player finds a shiny Pokemon, they are allowed to (but don't have to) capture it and use it no matter what, ignoring any rules that would originally prevent its use.
*Teams must be completed before the Elite 4, making most Legendaries unusable. Should you continue the play-through after the Elite 4, Legendaries can be allowed for the optional rotation slots.
*Story driven Pokemon are allowed to be used for story purposes.

Optional Rules:
*You cannot have more than one of any type on your team.
*Your rival is determined by who has the starter that your starter is weak to.

*Flying type (Makes travel easier)
*Region specific Ghost type

*Held item trade evolution Pokemon (One that evolves when traded while holding an item)
