A 100% playthrough of Legends of Ethernal, an action-adventure platformer where you play as a boy with barely any special abilities, and must save your parents from an evil race. The game isn't afraid to go all out with its enemy design, and most regular enemies are pretty annoying to fight with your limited moveset, especially flying enemies.

100% requires completing the game on the hardest difficulty, Hardcore, beating the game in under 6 hours, beating the game without getting any optional upgrades, collecting all items, and getting a certain amount of kills on each of the different weapons.

The 6 hour requirement isn't that hard and you might even get it on your first playthrough as long as you don't spend too much time wandering around, especially if you play it on the easiest difficulty. Even playing on Hardcore as my first playthrough, I was able to reach the end of the game in under 5.5 hours.

The game has 3 types of collectibles: history scrolls, ether pouches, and weapon parts. History scrolls are just lore-related and can be picked up at any time, but you can't get any optional ether pouches or weapon parts if you want one of the trophies. Once you've beaten the game, you can go back and get those items, as the game will allow you to backtrack to any area even after reaching the end.

The hardest part of the 100% will be beating it on Hardcore, where you will always take at least 2 damage from everything. This means you can only take 2-3 hits before dying early on, and it'll stay that way for a majority of the game. Bosses will be the main roadblock, as all of them are long endurance tests. You do get a health potion that you can fill up and use at any time, but most of the time, it'll only be usable once during boss fights.

Difficulty trophies do stack, which means you can attempt the 100% in one playthrough, but the difficulty will be drastically increased due to the extra restraints since you can't get any upgrades to use special moves and won't have as many healing potions to use.

If you choose to start on Hardcore, there's one missable trophy to keep in mind other than the 6 hour and no upgrade one, which is to talk to every NPC in Lupe Village. You can get this one the first time you visit the village, and it'll be the only time you can get it, as certain events shortly afterwards will remove some NPCs.

This 100% run here done in one playthrough, so this is about as hard as it'll get. All scrolls will be collected as soon as possible, while the ether pouches and weapon parts will be acquired after beating the final boss.
