7☕ MMO/RPG Gaming Updates: News and Commentary 35! There is a cross platform sea-faring MMORPG called Uncharted Waters Origin that will be going to closed beta testing in South Korea at the end of January. This MMO is based off of the Uncharted Waters IP, and not to be confused by Uncharted Waters Online. Speaking of ship and naval games, Sea of Thieves will not start its season and battle pass system, abandoning their monthly content updates starting this month.
I know Star Citizen is one of those games that people either really love or really hate, but in this week’s video diaries, the devs showed off some really interesting tools at their disposal, allowing them to create environments and have the AI or algorithm fill the gaps to make productivity a lor quicker and easier. It still needs some work, but seeing that game developers can program is really fascinating.
In non-RPG news (even though I justified it being in today’s show, in the video, lul), Resident Evil Village has been announced and will come out in May. It will still be in first-person perspective like the previous Resident Evil entry. Plus much more news!
