In the first episode of REVIEWS FROM THE VAULT, we take a look at one of the most influential LEGO themes the toy brand has ever produced: LEGO Space and, their most popular set of this theme, the Galaxy Explorer. From the cultural zeitgeist of the 1970s all the way to start of LEGO Star Wars, we explore how Legoland Space became so beloved by fans and why it was brought back for the 90th Anniversary of LEGO.

DISCLAIMER

The REVIEWS FROM THE VAULT video series is meant to be educational and entertaining to people who are interested on nostalgia and on exploring often forgotten characters, movies, toys and interesting stories behind the entertainment we watch and consume.

Since 2020, I've always wanted to make a review series on this channel that talked about things from my childhood. While this isn't necessarly a brand new thing on Youtube, I hope that my insight and my opinion can be shared with others.

While the videos have my opinion, they are sustained by research and information I collected from archival sources (videos, books, audio, images, etc.).

These videos will always have incorrections or facts I might have forgotten to talk about. Thus, I encourage you to use the comments to leave suggestions, comments and critiques to my videos.

I plan on making this video series annual, alongside the content I have made on this channel thus far. These videos take a lot longer to make than my usual stuff, but I have already scripted a few others that I hope will be as interesting as this one.

Once again, thanks for watching!
