I was never able to determine full reason for this large scale failure, I was able to get 2 of the 3 functions back. It has motion and lighting but no sound. I did as much research as I could but video quality from the year this was produced is poor and there aren't a whole lot of references to functionality on this piece. However it when from a decorative paperweight to a mostly functional display piece. Pictures where not added since I zoomed the camera to show all the burnt components, that is what the pictures were of, didn't want a repeat of what was on film. The gear that had the piece broke, I used Gorilla glue and resin to reattach the broken piece and reinforce the notched shaft. This is the longest repair I have ever done with the most research on a specific piece, this condensed down video should help any with this piece if they encounter a failure.
