Here is a fun powdered sugar short I made of the my recent lemon squares baking, they came out ok will have to perfect this recipe, the basic recipe is.

combine 3/4 cup butter 1/3 cup sugar and 1 1/2 cups flour and press into a 13 x 9 inch pan and bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until it just starts to brown

lightly whisk 4 eggs

in a different brown mix 5 TBS flour and 2 cups of sugar then stir this into the lightly whipped eggs

when you are ready to pour the topping onto the shortbread base add 3/4 cup fresh lemon juice and then immediately pour over shortbread.

bake for 20 minutes or until firm to touch

cool before cutting

cut and put a ton of powdered sugar on them but not to much
