【連縁/Len'en】Memories of [Straight From the Farm: Vegetable Sticks DX] ATTEMPT (UNREAL)
Eat it all up
---
Sup, Mini October Event Update is here. With it, it brought Lumen Buff, which imo could be dangerous, but you'll have to go out of your way to do that and under normal circumstances you'll only run Ig for 3 turns and that's it. Another thing it brought is the Recipe farming stages and as of version 1.0.25 you have exclusive-to-stages recipe - Vegetable Sticks (so many memories). This time the stage execution isn't "here's an enemy, but fatter" which I appreciate + it emlpoys a different AI strategy which is neat.
This stage however is a weird one, it doesn't rely on your positioning - but moreso your units, and oh boy do you gotta be carefull with what you choose. Thanks to @R8Spike, I realised there are two ways to play thus stage:
- Have a character that has a low enough HP threshold, so the Machines would target someone else after 1-2 onslaughts
or
- Have a character that has enough bulk to weather through the onslaught
alternatively, which I wouldn't reccomend
- Just slap Lumen and pray to god
This stage strategy really is "A Chain is As Strong As Its Weakest Link", huh? Having the first strategy is better since even the bulkiest character can only weather two onlsaughts at most (Jun)
But once you do survive the onslaught, the machines aren't even bulky, so it's relatively easy to take care of them
The team I used:
Jun (D-4) - Sniper - Has a great range and overall surprisingly very good in this stage
Shou (D-4) - Bomber - Please note that I have MOV +1 Shou, that's why I could kill the first onslaughter. While a solid pick, I don't know how would they perform during the "real deal" (ain't testing THAT shit, MOV +1 is already too rare)
Lumen (D-4) - RNGesus and additional damage - Literally the luck saved the run
----
Having potentially game breaking buffs is cool and all, but I'm glad the Onslaught attack got a buff in a form of being multi-hit. Yeah in trailers it used to be like ONE homing attack, which was not only awful, but also strange for the move that has a brutal animation like this bruh
