Lenovo has revealed the design of its next-gen RTX graphics cards, the Legion-based models designed specifically for their gaming PCs. So yes, you can and likely won't be able to buy these cards on the DIY market. Lenovo has been using a similar design for over two generations now, and it was never released to the market. What's new are two cards: the RTX 5090D and RTX 5080, both offered exclusively with the just-released Legion 9000K gaming PC with Intel Core Ultra 200K series. The system will be sold with mid-range cards (RTX 5070), but currently, it is only available with the RTX 5090D and 5080. These cards feature a massive quad-slot cooler with three fans and an RX Vega-inspired cooler with a minimalistic CNC-cut shroud. The card has a full-cover backplate with an RGB strip around the air exhaust. We can see that the GB202 GPU has a much larger footprint on the back compared to the GB203 (above). Also, both cards use a single 16-pin power connector. Judging from previous releases, these cards are not expected to be factory-overclocked.
