In the name of the king, you must build flourishing cities, explore and produce resources, and protect the economy from rogue bandits. Resources are scattered across the game map; acquire resources by founding cities. You decide the locations of buildings; cities manage the needs of their citizens autonomously. Cities have their own budget and resources. The player receives a percentage of taxes from city trades. Wealthy cities are generous; poorer cities are more stingy. Happier citizens pay more taxes, which increases the city's income.
