SUPER ECLIPSE

okay so what is super eclipse, basically my good friend Millie made a mod called super eclipse for this game, which essentially does 3 things.

- the ship never leaves
- the day starts at 12am as late as possible
- all the spawn cycles have occurred the moment the ship lands

what this does is basically as hard as the vanilla game can get, but you have infinite time to grab everything which changes the play style a fair bit onto strategy rather than optimizing and fast thinking, which is pretty interesting as a result.

WOW okay, this challenge is getting a lot harder now, vow allows for quite a different assortment of new monsters outside mostly, the inside is fairly similar but the outside now spawns giants and baboons WAY more than assurance, so you basically always have to deal with them, luckily I found a fairly good strat for fighting baboons where you strafe them when they attack you and usually miss their hits, that plus running away after snagging a hit and wearing their hp down like that, additionally theres giants but they are TOO bad to deal with since you can ship camp them and drain their hp from the entrance. The inside here almost always has a bracken to deal with which is very anxiety inducing in a long run like this lol, I did in this one too, but more importantly I had to deal with a MANEATER, which is so so hard to kill with a shovel but i somehow pulled it off, its my first kill of one ever, so like wtf lmao.

Overall it took prob something like 3 hours maybe a little more and like 25-30 tries, I think for future moons ill use livesplit again to track the playtime and attempts for me better, tier 2 next and im sure it will be only getting more scary, especially adamance will be a nightmare, also i need to mention that vow is usually a mineshaft but in v64 which this was done on, the chance of facility went up a lot, and the mineshaft is def harder to clear out, so I got lucky with a facility here in this run.
