Let's Blindly Play Professor Layton and the Last Specter - Part 1 - Prologue
NO SPOILERS IN THE COMMENTS. YOU ARE WARNED.
So, after much delay on my part, it's time to start the LP of the fourth Professor Layton game. Yes, this is blind. I have not played this game yet, nor have I looked up more information than what is on the box or manual, so again, let's not spoil things, because even if I delete your comment, I'll still see the spoiler, and that would make me a sad panda.
From what I can gather, we are now in prequel territory, and we are going to witness the first meeting of Luke and Layton, even though they show a cutscene of the two together, in kind of a flash forward moment. Also, how does Emmy know Layton, and will Emmy meet Emma from Ace Attorney in the crossover? I guess we'll find out the answers eventually, but for now, enjoy the small mysteries this game throws at you.

001: A Secret Message
A few things of note: This will not be posted daily. This will be posted as I have time to record and edit the videos. Since this is blind, and I think some fan interaction will be more fun with this one, I'm not going to work ahead. I'll pretty much post this series as soon as I get a video ready. It means a few changes on my part, but I'm willing to give working on the fly, and dealing with potential tech issues as I go, a chance.
Despite my waffling, I still plan to speak a lot of the dialogue, as I did with the first three games.
So, the base plan for this LP is that I'll first work on getting through the storyline and not go hunting down all the hidden puzzles. I might still find a few as I scrounge around for hint coins, but I'm not going to deviate much from the paths the game points out to advance, and I'm not going to spend long hunting the coins down.
After each chapter is done, I'll go back to the start of that chapter, find a guide to the locations of the puzzles and coins(if one exists that doesn't hand out all the puzzle solutions with it), and then record all the stuff I missed the first time through. Considering how many extra puzzles and the like that are scattered around, those videos might take longer than the actual LP.
I'll also try to edit out most of the dead time I spend solving the puzzles, since I'm sure people don't want to see 10 minutes spent mumbling to myself as I work out how many squares/triangles there are in a given shape.
