Yes, weird time frame, but that's because this game was a bit longer than an hour, so i have to make do somehow. But yes, i finally did the sequel, developed by Neko Entertainment, published by Turtle Games. It's suppose to be an improvement over the first, with better tracks, better controls, more music and some glitch fixes. What it actually is is different styled tracks that get worse the more you go on, the same controls, a few new songs and, yes, some bugs like falling through the ground are fixed.

What they also did was make the game a bit more easier. For the most part, you have to try hard to actually fall off the track now, compared to the original where falling off is a main fear. However now, they also changed out the collectables and weapons work. For the most part, weapons are the same, except now you got worthless weapons like the Flashbang weapon and weapons that do exist are also now worthless, like the mines just being spikes now. You also can't choose your weapon, it's now randomised and your chances of getting what you want is very low. This is because those tokens used for points have now been changed to giving you health... despite the fact they didn't change the token's design at all.

The worst part here IS damage. Not only will weapons hurt you and falling off the track hurt too, but the act of falling can hurt you too. Yes, this game has fall damage. And there's alot of jumping in this game. There's also the exact same cast of racers, for the more part, except we also have a tropical Crazy Frog and everyone's stats are kinda confusing as. I stuck with Crazy Frog though, because i did the same thing back with the first game.

This game starts off insultingly easy. Only 1 AI will probably rubberband the crap out of you, but you can pretty much outlap a racer for some of these. But as you move on, you start getting tracks more akin to the first game, in which falling is more prominent and the track, even with it's minimap, is deceiving and terribly designed. You will hit alot of walls and maybe even fall off alot. The worst is the last track. That's the only one where i honestly found it to be unfair as, as it's very design is just disgusting with the way the game controls and works. It's the only time i don't get 1st. Which is a neat opposite to how i handled the first game, where the first tracks were less than 1st and then i just kept getting 1st.

I have no weapon strategy. I just spam them. Sometimes they help. Usually, they do absolutely nothing. And if you're leading, you'll never get boosts. So unfortunately, your only friend here is the shield, if lucky, because it can prevent fall damage. And trust me, you'll need the health. This game is much shorter than the first, at least, so there's that.

I also go check out the minigames. I don't do the other modes since in essence, they aren't different to the competition and there's no good reason to do so.

I wanted to get this done for over a year. But never had the encouragement to do so. That was until 2 things happened. 1. The longplay for the first game skyrocketed to being my most viewed video, with about 40K views at the time. And 2. Crazy Frog surprisingly making a silent return with activity on his YT and him now having a Twitter, which will apparently follow me if i did this. If this longplay ends up encouraging Neko Entertainment and such to make Crazy Frog Racer 3, i don't apologise.
