6Playdead seems to have a weird obsession with putting children in nightmarish situations. Limbo which I played previously featured a little boy, who may or may not be dead, running through a black and white world of saw blades, abandoned hotels, and giant spiders. Inside features yet another boy in peril, but the bizarre world and great platforming controls make it feel even better than their previous child terror experience.

About the game:
Inside is a puzzle-platformer adventure game developed and published by Playdead in 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. The game was released for iOS in December 2017 and Nintendo Switch in June 2018. A macOS version was released in June 2020. The player controls a boy in a dystopic world, solving environmental puzzles and avoiding death. It is the successor to Playdead's 2010 game Limbo, and features similar 2.5D game-play.
