Exploring the abandoned cypress knee museum in Florida which opened in 1951 and closed in 2000 due to the prohibition of the cutting of cypress knees. Tom Gaskins began his hobby in 1938 of carving cypress knees into various shapes which eventually were displayed in his museum here. Thieves broke in and stole his cypress knees shortly after the prohibition due to their increased value. Shortly after, it closed. #shorts
