Okay, given my loss of over 90,000 gold last game, mostly to clear my inventory of gold that I could not spend for mysterious reasons, I have decided to spend most of this game session grinding for money for two reasons:

A) I want to see if I eventually start getting hiragana in the normal encounters.

B) I don't want to tackle the cave again without a substantial number of herbs.
