0The Surge is a souls-like game but set in an alternate reality 300 years into the future of humanity from 2017, where technology is rampant, and technological terrorists are also rampant. The Surge centers around a man who enters the employment of CREO, a company dedicated to restoring the Earth's biosphere and creating an Earth that will help other generations to come, instead of their own generation. However, on the first day of work, a terrorist attack hits CREO, claiming thousands if not millions of lives, and making your character the hero of this game, as you work toward finding out what the hell happened to your job and what the hell happened to CREO.
