Let's Look At Toukiden 2 Ps4
0Toukiden 2 is a hunting game that I've recently gotten into. It's solo friendly, relatively fast paced compared to others in the genre. It's by no means simple though with a customization so vast you're liable to lose track of time while thinking of different ideas for builds with the mitama system.
Movement is fluid with the grappling system and while cutting off limbs is not always a permanent thing, it does feel satisfying nonetheless. There's a whole lot of things not explained on the surface and I'm pretty sure I don't understand everything even after investing 100 hours but it's a fun experience for any interesting in hunting oni.
It's not as hardcore or as tedious as the other big name in the genre. MH involved having to bring warm or cold drinks depending on the hunting area, or making sure your weapon was sharp enough to not bounce off to get that tail cut. (lol the memories.)
Toukiden may not be as "realistic" as needing to eat to recover stamina but it's a heck of a lot more fun not having to worry about that stuff. Both are great games but I implore you to give it a try if you have the time.
