We continue on as we unlock a level 10 weapon in Legend Mode.

Here's what is required in order to unlock Level 10 Weapons in Xtreme Legends.

1) You need to make sure your character's weapon is at level 9.
2) The difficulty setting must be set to Hard.
3) All Level 10 Weapons will be unlocked in Legend Mode under the character's respective Legend stage.

I will be getting these weapons in order if you were looking at the Weapons list in the Encyclopedia.

Ancients Sword:
Weapon Attack: +54

Stage: The Chi Bi Gambit

Requirements: Defeat Mi Zhu, Sun Qian, Zhang Fei and Guan Yu before Zhuge Liang's boat docks (within three minutes).

Recommendations: For the fact you are restricted with items you need to go from enemy general to enemy general to obtain this one. The hard part is fighting Zhang Fei and Guan Yu. Best case scenario is dueling one and winning and fighting against the other.
If you know which soldier drops the battle axes you can beat both without dueling. Once you see that you obtained the weapon you can go straight for Zhuge Liang to end the stage.

NOTE: When you go for these weapons in Legend Mode make sure you do NOT combine both Dynasty Warriors 4 and Dynasty Warriors 4 Xtreme Legends. If you do this you won't be able to retrieve the weapon. At that point you will only be to get it the way it was meant to be unlocked in Dynasty Warriors 4. Also note that I'm showing this off for information and this is in my opinion an alternate way in getting the Level 10 weapons if you only own Xtreme Legends. If you own Dynasty Warriors 4 then just try to get the Level 10 weapons there. If you find the requirements easier in Xtreme Legends then by all means go for it.

How to unlock the weapon in Dynasty Warriors 4.

Stage: The Siege of Fan Castle (Wu Forces)

Musou Mode Required: No

Requirements: Wait for the supply convoy to appear and then defeat the supply captain before he enters Fan Castle.

Recommendations: Defeating the supply captain is easy. It's everything before that is gonna be a challenge. Reason why I'm saying this is because it is important to defend the siege weapons that way Lu Meng won't have to aid. When I mean by that as in him basically giving you a game over. His morale will be so low and Cao Ren's morale will be at max that I consider it being the hardest weapon to get if you do it wrong. If you fail in defending the siege weapons you may have to keep an eye on Lu Meng that way he won't die and give you that game over. Regardless here's what you should do. When the stage starts you should defeat Xu Huang and Zhen Ji right away. That way your allies can wipe out those remaining units. Ambushes will appear over time and will try to destroy the siege weapons. If they do the enemy morale will increase. Don't worry about the catapults since they can take the hits and the enemy morale will only increase if they destroy all of them on one side. The siege ramps are the issue. If ONE ramp goes down the enemy morale will increase and it will happen every time a ramp goes down. Focus on the ambush troops attacking the ramps and over time Cao Ren's morale will drop. Once it goes down to 4 your allies will be able to handle them but still defend the ramps until they go up. Once they are up head over to the northeast corner and wait for the supply convoy. Don't worry the ramps will be up before the convoy appears. Defeat the supply captain and the weapon is yours. NOTE: You may lose one siege ramp. That's okay as long as it's only one you lose and nothing more. Also due to RNG Cao Ren may start off with a morale of six or five. If you can you should try to have it at five from the start. I tried it with six and it is doable I lost two ramps and I was still okay it just took a bit longer for Cao Ren's morale to drop to 0.
