Further scenes are shown regarding Ruben's transformation into Ruvik. The fire that left his sister, who's name we find out is Laura, in a vegetative state was started by some disgruntled farmers. The Victoriano's were rich and bought up all the land in the area, causing the other residents to rebel against them. Lastly, it's revealed that Ruben's father was the one who kept him locked away because his mother Beatriz had been traumatised by the incident.
