Aarklash Legacy is a tactics game that employes a real-time with pause system. It also has a light RPG system with characters gaining experience that allows the assignment of skill points, as well as a gear system for stat enhancement. The game allows the use of 4 character teams selected from a roster of 8 characters. Each character has 4 skills that can be enhanced with skill points. The characters fill one of four rolls, with each roll having two characters - tank, physical dps, magical dps, and healer. The story of he game follows a sort of anti-hero motif.
